Should kids be spanked at 13?

I was last spanked when i was 15 about 14 months ago. I haven't been told that I wont be spanked again so I suppose I still could be.
I was about 12 when my dad started to use a plimsoll (slipper) and I suppose 13/14 when I was seriously spanked most often. it had always been with the hand before that time.
