It isn't a matter of controlling the woman. In fact, like most women, she really has control in the family. If women would use their femininity to manipulate instead of nagging and yelling they would weild more power in a relationship. My wife knows that by being demure and feminine (skirts, dresses, aprons...sewing, crotcheting, cooking, cleaning) she will be treated as a lady. In other words what gentleman would ever allow a woman to shovel the snow in a dress, or lift heavy objects that need moved, etc. Most women want to be pampered but reject the way to recieve pampering. My wife knows that by using her feminine qualities even if it means being a 1950's style housewife and mom she can expect the royal treatment.
What stay at home said is so true! My wife wants to be supported and kept and is willing to obey the rules I set for her. I am the head of the household and she likes it this way. She often tells me that because she isn't allowed to spend $ without my permission it gets her off the phone quickly with telemarketers. All she has to say is, "My husband makes the decisions."

Thanks for your views. However I believe that most women love the security of firm leadership in the home. I mean there's way less pressure in life if you aren't making all the decisions. Most women secretly wish things were like 150 years ago, as far as womens roles go.
I disagree that men should be slaves to women. But if that were to occur, how would it start? I mean if women just tried to take over men would revolt, and you must admit it would not be good for the ladies. Also, I believe that most women secretly would rather go back to the way things were years ago... where they were focused mainly on the domestic things of child rearing, housekeeping, and honoring the husband. The reason I think that is because it takes all the pressure off of a woman when she knows, as my wife does, that all she needs to think about is house, home, and children. She is happy to be a skirt and apron wearing lady.
