That's called "nationalism" and it is integral part of fascism.

It also was designed to show us that our choices are limited only to those that get the "official seal of approval" from the powers that be. Our democracy functions within a very limited window! Which is a by-product of our heavily propagandized society.

I purposely designed this poll to be one sided. Firstly, the questions regarding invasion of Iraq and Iran have the words "we chose, etc."....we (the citizens) didn't "choose" any of that! Our leaders didn't ask us, they sold it to us and then just did it. Secondly, all of the choices listed with those questions are straight out of the news...they justified invasion with "ties to 911", then it was "WMD's", then it was "spreading freedom!" The fact that the choice "Not sure, but not OIL" isn't hilarious is that many people think it's true! It's not propaganda, it's a parody of propaganda!

Language is limited. It's used, abused and distorted to create different realities. Thought, form, and words are ultimately useless. Arguments that proceed long enough lead to self contradiction. To sum it all up: "You are all right--it's just a bunch of $%!@."

It won't matter if you vote for Obama, Superman ,or the goat. That's what's called authoritarian power. That kind of top-down power structure will always corrupt. One must push the changes up from the grass roots. As long as your just voting some new boss in every couple of years, you'll always be a servant.
