I don't have any experiance with rubber straps, but a lot with leather ones and they HURT. I would also sugest a cane. ========== In Reply To ========== This is not quite on the subject of the poll, but a friend who had seen this poll suggested I ask a question here.

I have a early-teen-years boy, truly a wonderful guy, but who on rare occasion needs to learn his lesson the hard way. I've used a paddle up until now, not a real big one, but I'm afraid it no longer hurts enough to achieve the degree of punishment I fear he needs. A friend has suggsted I get a thick rubber strap from a Reb-Online company for my boy and assures me that it will be very effective.

Does anyone have experience with this strap? Or would anyone suggest anything else for a teenager whose a pretty big guy and on occasion needs to get "cut down to size" on his back side? My dad used a rubber hose on me at that age, but I can't find one like it.

This is the kind of sociological factoid that shows that women have as wide-ranging sexuality as men do. Why is this important? Because, for years we've been taught as clinicians that women weren't really interested in sex or sexual things, except those things they did in order to please men.
