========== In Reply To ========== Hi, I am a 12 year old Belgian girl. In our school smocks are mandatory up to 4th grade (9/10 year old)for both boys and girls. After that they become optional except for art and science classes where they are always mandatory. But if parents want it the school will make sure their children wear their smocks all the time. In my class we are three girls who vace to wear the smocks all the time. Claire
