In general, is it better to come overdressed or underdressed to this kind of school event?
In general, do you think we should be dressing more formally, or more casually for this kind of events? If schools instituted a "wear anything" policy, should teachers try to encourage students to dress up more formally than otherwise, or to come in naked? Why or why not? What should teachers and school administrators wear?
Would you support this kind of program at your school? Why or why not?

Sorry to take so long to reply, I've been a little busy with classes!

In regards to last Wednesday, I was barefoot from the start, and A. and Emily took off their shoes and socks, but Sarah kept her socks on. I didn't encourage Emily and Sarah too much to get naked. I told them that it was fun, but entirely up to them whether or not to undress.

I think, since I just had a second "Clothing optional Monday," the unofficial club is definitely developing! I got the word around to a few more friends, and I brought some board games for us to play. Emily and Sarah came again, as well as a girl named Taniyah, and a guy named Derek. (All of whom are freshmen)

I was nude, of course, when people started showing up. My RA was walking down the hall when I opened the door to let Taniyah in, and shot me a glance which said- "I don't know what you're doing, but it better not get me in trouble" and walked on. Taniyah said she had been curious about the idea of this sort of group, but had never tried anything like this out, and just wanted to sit in fully clothed. I told her that was okay, but that she would be more than welcome to get naked with me. We talked for a little while before A. came back to the room with Derek, and both of them got naked, and then joined our conversation. I think Taniyah was a little overwhelmed by this- she was very obviously (and not successfully) trying to avoid looking at anyone's privates, but eventually seemed to get used to it.

Emily and Sarah later showed up, and Emily also got naked almost the minute she walked in the door. When Sarah saw Derek was there, she got a little nervous, and so at the beginning she kept her clothes on too.

By the time we started our games though, the awkwardness wore off, and A. managed to convince Sarah and Taniyah to take off their tops, leaving Sarah topless, and Taniyah in her bra. Overall, the night was fun, and we all agreed we should try this again. I also had a slightly more daring idea for this weekend- to go jump in campus river with as little clothing as possible. I'll tell you how it goes!

Last night was actually quite fun- the two people I invited over, Emily and Sarah, were a little startled by my announcement that I would be naked, but they took it in stride, although neither of them immediately undressed. We hung out for a little while, until A. came in, and taking off her clothes, joined our conversation. I guess this made Sarah feel a little more comfortable, because she took off her top, and spent the rest of the evening topless.

Emily was the big surprise to me, though. She's generally pretty shy, and I didn't expect her to do anything too drastic. However, once Sarah took off her shirt, she made a little joke about feeling over-dressed, and got completely naked along with A. and me. Apparently, she is usually naked at home, but felt it was too awkward to do it in front of others until she saw that all three of us were comfortable with it. We had a great evening, and agreed we should try to meet again, and maybe invite some more people- perhaps have a monday night unofficial "nude club."

The other big problem will be having boys over, if they want to join- the floor is coed, but each room is either boys or girls only, and there might be some questions if guys started to come in my room. Still, it's a big and fairly anonymous campus, so we'll see.

That's an interesting idea for a conversation starter... It might be a little akward, but it's worth a try!

Both A. and I have been undressed in one way or another most of the time we've been in the dorm together. I am almost always nude, but A. sometimes wear a t-shirt or tank top and panties when just sitting around the room, and gets naked to sleep. Unfortunately, I am not in the dorm very much, because of orientation and that I tend to be fairly social.

In recent days, I've also been hanging out naked in the bathroom a little before and after taking my shower. It isn't much, but it is the one place where it's acceptable.

I have had a few people over to my room, but only while I've been fully dressed. I'm thinking of actually changing that tonight, I'm inviting over two friends from the board game club I've met, and who seemed like they would understand. I am going to explain to them how I prefer to be dressed, and encourage them to join me if they want. I guess I'll see what happens...
