in summer I sometimes wear flip-flops but obviously without socks. the school uniform I wore only during the cultural exchange, since in the country where I live I do not have the school uniform.

so I had never worn sandals to school before, I didn't like it because I still prefer shoes, then because I still had to have long socks pulled up. if I have to put on socks I should leave my shoes, I think sandals should only be worn without socks.

however, if that's the style you like, do it right. I guess there will be very few other guys who dress like you. tastes are subjective and I don't judge you. when you are not in school uniform so you still keep the style if I understand correctly?

I ask you out of curiosity, did you start wanting to always keep shorts? or did your parents encourage you? do your teammates do like you too? however, if you like it and it does not bother you, you are very well dressed to dress as you like. personally I was much better off with trousers in winter, knee-length shorts in summer with sports shoes or slippers but possibly without socks.

I'm glad you're at ease like this, for me it was very embarrassing instead. inside the school not too much, but outside I didn't like it at all, the problem was mainly that the shorts were too short. how short are yours? in your place, as soon as I got home, I would immediately take off my school clothes and wear more fashionable clothes, I would never, ever wear shorts in winter, let alone socks and sandals in summer, barefoot sandals would be better. but unfortunately I was obliged.

the college I attended was very strict on discipline, this also included discipline on school uniform. I showed up at the college dressed in jeans, a T-shirt and sneakers, and was immediately reprimanded because students weren't allowed to wear long pants, let alone shoes in hot weather. the summer uniform was very comfortable, a short sleeved shirt, tie, very short traditional shorts, sandals with short socks. in winter it was a traditional gray suit always with very short shorts, knee-high socks and black shoes.

when I arrived they scolded me for being too young to have long pants (15 years), so they immediately changed me into my summer uniform. my clothes were against the regulation and I couldn't keep them.

initially I was not very happy to have to finish my studies in shorts but then I quickly got used to it, I had some reproaches for the unbuttoned shirt and for having lowered my socks.

before then I could always choose my favorite clothes by myself, in school I had no problem wearing those very short shorts all year round and every day, on the contrary, I think there is nothing more comfortable to study than shorts and sandals with socks . in winter I was a bit cold sometimes in shorts, inside the school I was happy to keep the shorts, to go out I wanted my jeans but the rules were clear.

to go out during our free time we had few alternatives, either the uniform or we had to keep the same style, so at most the polo was allowed, only very short shorts, socks and shoes only in winter, sandals with or without socks in summer.
