On Friday, October 28th breaking with tradition by not informing the Justice Department first, the FBI director sent a letter to Congress announcing his intentions of reopening the investigation into Hillary Clintons emails. While investigating Huma Abedins husband on charges of sexual misconduct with a fifteen year old girl, thousands of emails were found on a laptop used by both Abedin and her husband. It seems unlikely that the FBI would pursue this again if they had not unearthed some damaging evidence implicating Hillary. It also seems likely that Comeys decision to reopen the case is not based on any moral or ethical reason for doing so but only to vindicate himself in the eyes of the American people and to salvage the remains of his tattered reputation by throwing Clinton under the bus. Hillary Clintons misplaced loyalties stopped her from parting company with Huma Abedin after the second Carlos Danger incident. By not doing so, she has shot herself in the foot as a result of the recent revelations proving once again that she seems incapable of assessing the long term ramifications of her decisions, i.e., intervention in Libya and her private server.
