Well Penny - I prefer you women to wear skirts, all the time - but I have no problem with you wearing trousers.
I always wear a skirt myself, complete with half slips... both at home and when going out in public... Not because i'm gay or anything.. but simply for the sheer comfort it provides.
As i've said in the past - we live in a Free Society with Equal rights for all ... So in my book - that means equal rights in clothing !!!
How would you girls feel, if you had to wear skirts or dresses at ALL times !!

It is bizarre that people would judge others by what they wear rather than the content of their character. But society demands conformity and judges people by the degree to which they conform. A guy in a skirt is not acceptable in conventional society. (Even Scotsmen in kilts are a source of amusement in the popular media.) And while females in trousers are no longer seen as somewhat subversive, a skirt or dress is still regarded as "appropriate" on formal occasions. In other words, women are permitted to wear trousers as a concession, not a right.

I was looking in a yahoo club dealing with men in skirts, when I came across a URL to this poll....

While the poll itself is limited to one question... I really think you should take a look at it, and view the results.
After that - take a look through the comments made - including one from a british soldier that served in the gulf war... who always wears skirts !!!
I know all male skirt wearers will be very impressed with the poll results and comments made........ apart from just one comment by a small minded moron - it seems everyone is in favour of men in skirts.... and there are some great little tales regarding wearing skirts in public... and standing up for equal rights !!

What do you do in the winter when there is ice and snow, do you still have to go outside barefoot for pe?
========== In Reply To ========== I live in leicster but go to school near loughborough. yes this does happen alot.my teacher is a bit of a perv we reckon cos I think he enjoys watching us. for pe it depends, warm weather is t-shirts and skirts, and cold weather is t-shirt and leggings, but always bare footed.
