User: S.O.A.D.

I'm sorry, but Toxicity is by far the best album on that list...the political and meaningful lyrics, influence, and wit...the overall dynamic, changing sound, and simply the catchiness of the songs...it's almost unbeatable. Yes, earlier bands such as Iron Maiden and Megadeth were good...but their sound is just nowhere near as attractive as System of a Down's...and neither are the lyrics. In my opinion at least. I'm not trying to convert people.

Considering Bush doesn't have an IQ high enough to pronounce a sentence right, has dropped bombs on random, innocent people, justified the war by saying there were WMD's (which we haven't found yet), has preached against abortion when he isn't the one giving birth to a baby, has acquired the record for the highest unemployment rate of any U.S. president, has sat and watched lots of American soldiers die for his "Global War on Terrorism," spends 90 billion dollars on a war, which could have gone to fighting poverty or hunger........yeah, he's surely one of the greatest presidents in history.

I'm the jacka$$, yet I'm the only one so far on this message board that has made a point. I've backed up what I've said. The only information you can manage to provide is "they're not about politics you jacka$$"...backed up your point really great there.

Furthermore, I wasn't saying everyone is supposed to sing about politics...I was just using that as an example of what Green Day does. They've made a memorable and very applicable statement through their lyrics. Name one thing RHCP has achieved with their lyrics.

And further further more, RHCP is great, but they can't beat Green Day's list of hits.....

RHCP's lyrics are better? Please elaborate...how are they better? They have great lyrics, sure, but they haven't exactly come out and made a political statement like Green Day has.
