I made a phone call to the Dutch Co. asking to offer a custom-tailored multifunctional restraining vest suitable for day and night use. It appeared this Co doesn’t work full-time anymore, and they may run short of fabrics. They didn’t refuse to do it, however also weren't quite not keen to get an order. Do You believe the German Co You got the jacket from offers custom tailored jackets too or are they just trading in them? Could You pass me the link to them?
In bed and also for nightly toileting, I keep my boy in short connected ankle and tight wrist restraints attached to a waist belt. But so far not as a routine on daytime. I feel he should wear them off and on at day times too, just for improved obedience and less trouble. However, our key locking medical restraints are made of white cotton fabric and therefore soiled after short. Repeated washing will impair the tensile strength.
A pair made of tough leather or leatherlike material would be better. The cuffs and the adjustable intermediate strap should come with tamper and picking proof locks similar to the ones we have. Otherwise, he may remove them even when wearing wrist restraints.
The same could happen whilst Your girl is out of her jacket. Would You tolerate running around and kicking?

I understand she wears a traditional institutional strait-jacket with closed sleeve ends and many straps buckled up in the back.
No wonder, she won 't trouble You when going to the bathroom wearing it.

I'm more looking for a multipurpose restraining vest suitable for day and night use. If possible with open end sleeves, so I could up roll one sleeve whilst keeping the other arm restrained allowing him to eat, brush teeth a.s.o. I don't dare to release out of the jacket for such activities. Being 17 yrs and physically stronger than me he, may refuse to get it back on him.
There is a Co in the Netherlands which offers such mild straitjackets made to measure. Addl. features like special sleeves, attaches and extra straps are available on request.

They are basically less restrictive compare to yours, but still escape proof. Dependent on how they're buckled up, very restrictive too.

Is her jacket just a standard one or made to measure?

No doubt, the arm restraints over the jacket sleeves and ankle restraints will keep her save in bed and ensure smooth and trouble-free night toilet proceeding. The latter was often a problem and the main reason for cuffing him before I let him out and walking to the toilet. Before I proceeded like this he often refused to return to his room and even rejected getting harnessed and strapped in again.
He used to play with the magnetic locks and rubbing on his private parts in an excessive way. Thanks to the wrist cuffs he can't do this anymore.
Would Your girl do that if she only could? At daytime, I restrain him only after or short before acting up. For safety reasons he wears socks, never shoes inside the house.

I agree, just a straitjacket is more convenient and possibly far more economical than our expensive restraining system. How do You secure her in bed for not strolling around at night? Are there any attaches or rings for straps provided? Does she sleep with her arms crossed and hands tight near to the body, or do You loosen the straps for more comfort? Our harness and the safety vest are for use in bed or on a care chair. The ankle and wrist cuffs are the same for night and day use. For day use, I attach them to a locking waste-belt. Depending on how tight or loose they are attached, he can pursuit most of the normal activities. For temporary total immobilizing, I tug the cuffs tight to the belt and have him wearing padded hand mittens.

I restrain my hyperactive boy with bipolar disorder too. Not for convenience only but to keep him off from wandering, escaping and violent acting up. I never had him wearing a jacket as u describe it. However, off and on I wished he would. It would make it easier for me handling and controlling him in difficult situations.
In bed, he wears an escape-proof harness, often in combination with wrist and ankle restraints. https://www.dropbox.com/s/l53ahzecwefwign/kombifix%20Gr%20M.jpg?dl=0

All our restraints are with magnetic locks, so fairly tamperproof, except one back tie vest. How far apart do adjust are her ankle cuffs? Ours are around 10" (25cm) but I feel shorter would further improve discipline. You may msg me private for more details if You wish.
