We've raised girls and helped our neighbors raise theirs -- and we're sickened by two opposite but equally evil trends: A. The sexualization of little girls B. the panic over sexualization that leads to a ridiculous covering up. When our girls were 11, in the summer they wore a lot of T-shirts and shorts, some tank tops and spaghetti-strap stuff, no tube tops because they had no boobs, flip-flops. On hot days the tops were optional, they'd swim or play outside shirtless like the boys.

I disagree with your interpretation of 1 Cor 14. It does not mean that women who are called of God are forbidden to teach or share before the congregation. It means that they are not allowed to distract the congregation by idle chatter. As someone who has had to quiet down the junior high school girls from talking during church, I learned first hand exactly what Paul was referring to. To say that women must not teach or speak -- especially when it is clear that God has gifted many of our sisters with exactly this ability -- is to try to limit God and tell God just what he may or may not do in our midst.

When I was 21 I met a girl who didn't $%!@e -- I assumed all girls $%!@ed, just like all guys -- for some reason it really turned me on. She made me promise to stop $%!@ing if I was going to date her. I really liked this girl, so I quit, cold turkey. We're still together and I haven't $%!@ed for years.

I've been with the same woman for many years now and we've never used birth control so I'm used to spraying it every which way; I still "get inside" her almost every night, and I'd go nuts if I couldn't. C'mon, Jennie, be nice.

========== In Reply To ========== I prefer giving hand relief over giving intercourse. If I need intercourse I go out and pick a boy up for the night. In my marriage and medium-to-long term relationships, I keep intercourse to a minimum. I don't mind a boy putting it "inside" for a little while but it has to come out again before he sprays.
