I am a 17 year old girl from Arizona (which is really hot) and girls still go barefoot more by far. All my female friends and I always wear sandals or flip flops and we always go barefoot in P.E. not many guys ever do, which is good since guys feet are gross. We girls actually take care of our feet by getting pedicures and painting our toenails. Me and some of my friends even wear toe rings and anklets to accessorize our feet. I am always barefoot at home and the girls are always barefoot. The boys only are about 5% of the time. So yeah, its definitely the girls.

Boys feet gross me out. Only girls should wear sandals or flip flops. I personally only ever wear flip flops or sandals and I only own a couple pairs of closed toe shoes. I live in Arizona so it is too hot for socks and I don't like socks to begin with. Plus my feet get really sweaty and it is wierd to wear toe rings with socks (I wear multiple toe rings year round). Another reason flip flops and sandals are only for girls is because we paint our toenails and there is no point in painting them if we aren't going to show them off. Most of the girls at my high school also wear sandals. I hate it when boys choose to also go barefoot when me and my female friends go barefoot at the park for example. So yeah, its only for girls.

I disagree I think that toe rings are comfortable on any toe as long as it is sized correctly but the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th are the most comfortable

Yes I wear toe rings. I absolutely love them! They are so much fun to wear and they really compliment a good pedicure and some flip flops. Wear 3 all year round!
