- Guys who prefer to wear one shoe only

Earlier today I found an old right shoe that I thought I had gotten rid of lying under some stuff in my closet, and decided to try it on and se what wearing two shoes felt like. It felt really strange not to have my right foot free, and I came back here to look up how long it's been since I posted this poll and stopped wearing right shoes, and this says it was from Jan. 2015, so it's been over two years. After about ten minutes, I put the shoe back in the closet. Maybe in a couple years I try again.
Anyways, I haven't seen any polls around here about wearing one shoe for a little while. I kind of want to have a new one, but I don't know what else to ask. So if you've got any suggestions, or any questions about my two years without wearing a right shoe, or whatever, let me know.
Yes, about a year ago I started just wearing one shoe all the time. It took a couple months to really get used to it and decide to just get rid of my right shoes. I have like six different left shoes, and a pair of dress shoes just in case I need them, but I've never worn the right one. I usually have a black shoe and a black sock on my left foot and a white ankle sock on my right foot, so it's really obvious, but I like getting weird looks from people. And if people ask questions, I just act like it's completely normal. The best is going to buy a new shoe, and telling the clerk that I don't even want the right one.
How about you, you still enjoying life with one shoe on?
How did everything go? I started wearing only my left shoe several months ago and it's been mostly great. Some people are uptight about that sort of thing, but it hasn't been too much of a hassle. I've still never met anyone that even knows about anyone else that only wears one shoe, so I hope that you got your wish and there's at least a few of us that only wear our left shoes. Actually, it would be nice if there was someone that was my size and only wears right shoes, so I could trade a couple brand new right shoes that I'm never going to wear for some left shoes that I will. But, on the other hand, wearing a right shoe and not a left shoe seems really weird, and just kind of wrong. Obviously, the left shoe is the one to wear. As you seem to understand, but no one else I know gets it.
Great poll. I'm also interested in wearing only my left shoe all the time, but you seem to have made more progress toward that goal than I have. Something about the feel of the ground under just one foot (and always the right foot) just feels most comfortable to me. And the sight of one sneaker and one white sock just looks great too. Good luck with your essay and getting your parents and school to just let you live a life without right shoes. Keep us informed about how long you can make it with only one shoe. I have to wonder what you do in the rain and the cold? I've just kept my one shoe trips to when the weather is good for it, but what are you going to do if you don't even have any right shoes?
I've got my own poll here asking for opinions and advice on getting started with always wearing one shoe: http://www.misterpoll.com/polls/599427
Thanks for your response, One Shoe. I'm pretty much just a sneakers guy myself, so I've never even been to a shoe repair place before. That does sound fun, though.
