I wouldn't attempt reasoning with the sort of people who somehow manage to beleive Obama is a muslim, atheist and a "globalwarmingist" simaltaneously.

What kind of question is this? And why have so few voted "not sure"? Anyone who votes or doesn't vote for someone soley based on their religion, without regard to policies, IMO, doesn't deserve to vote at all. Also, why the hell is this poll flagged?

I personally find that neither "Right" nor "Left" is particuarly liberal OR progressive. The right supports corporate welfare, intruding into peoples' personal lives (such as in deciding who can marry whom and what medical procedures people are permitted to have) and forcing their religion on the country. The left supports appeasing terroristic and very illiberal islamic regimes, opposing the only beacon of democracy in the middle east (aka Israel), restricting personal self defence and all the "speech codes" and "political corectness" trash. And lets not get started on Obama, the president who emobides BOTH of these positions.
