From what you say I am sure that Anatole enjoyed being dressed in his kilt and frilly knickers and being teased by his younger girl cousins. His Mummy obviously went along with this and no doubt liked him dressed as an effeminate child.

I adored being kept in short trousers at home by my mother and especially being dressed in little boy party clothes which included velvet short trousers and a babyish blouse with girls footwear of white ankle or white knee socks with little girl’s strap shoes up to the age of 20.

It was such fun to be teased for being a sissy by younger children of either sex and despite being made to blush I swooned with the humiliation. I imagine that both Anatole and myself were exhibitionists and craved showing off how childishly girlie we were. Who wants to wear boring grown up clothes when one can be dressed as a pretty child. Although I wanted to wear short trousers in my late teens I also wanted to be a little girl as well as a little boy. I loved being the centre of attention because I was such a sissy.

Thank you for the reply. In answer to your question, I did not post my background of wearing short trousers to the age of twenty on the Experience Project. I looked up the website after reading your post and found that it no longer exists. Also, I had not heard of it before so I am pretty sure I had never visited the site let alone posted on it.

My post was to point out that not all older boys made to wear short trousers found it an unpleasant experience. I have always had a submissive nature and have always wanted to please others so I enjoyed having Mummy dress me as a little boy around the house. Also, I simply did not want to grow up. My acceptance of my juvenile status certainly helped my relationship with my two younger sisters who viewed me as the baby of the household and eagerly exercised their authority over me. We were a happy family. I was occasionally seen by visitors and later taken out by Mummy in her car to visit a few of her selected family and friends.

Although I sometimes felt embarrassed I experienced a perverse pleasure when seen by other children who were usually much younger than me. Some of them teased me while others simply starred or asked how I felt wearing such clothes. When I was 19 we were visited by a lady and her good looking 15 year old son who was very intrigued by my appearance and we became close friends. I am sure he was attracted to me and was very complimentary about my childish appearance which pleased me greatly. The attraction was mutual and I viewed him as a grown up. It was fairly innocent although I had many fantasies about him.

I wish I could have continued wearing short trousers after twenty but I had to move to London for work but I always wore shorts and other very childish clothes whenever I returned home on visits and this continued throughout my twenties.

I well understand your humiliation of having to wear short trousers that were very short so revealing a large expanse of bare thighs. From what you write it does not seem at all like a consensual arrangement with your mother. Since she had absolute power over you it was fortunate that she did not decide to dress you in girlish footwear. I imagine you were thankful for small mercies.

However I was interested to read that you had to sit with your knees together in a lady like manner to avoid revealing more than you should when wearing your micro-shorts with braces. Did anyone ever comment on your feminine pose and mention that you looked ladylike? Even though you were not forced to wear white ankle socks and little girl shoes you must have appeared somewhat girlish. Did you blush easily?

As I wrote in my post about wearing short trousers outside of school from 16 to 20 at the behest of my mother I willingly accepted my status around the house as a little boy to please her. Occasionally I was dressed in a little boy's party outfit which included white ankle or white knee socks with little girl's strapped shoes and rather enjoyed how I looked so it was consensual. Of course I looked like an older boy dressed as a five year old and blushed when teased but I enjoyed being seen as a sissy. Although being taken out in public would have been a different matter altogether.

The first paragraph of your latest post could be construed as supporting my view that the boy in the girlish footwear in Hertfordshire actually enjoyed being dressed this way as well as being seen in these clothes. A boy of 16 or 17 like yourself might put up with being made to wear short trousers but would rebel at the extreme humiliation of having to wear the footwear of a little girl.

My point is that how many males who have posted here acquiesced in being dressed in short trousers in their late teens. They may not have initiated a return to short trousers but, like me, were happy to wear them to please their parents. I am sure some boys would have refused point blank to be put back in shorts while others were so weak and timid they were far too frightened to disobey their parents' instructions

I agree with Mavis, and others here that the 16 year old boy you saw at the Hertfordshire weekend dressed in a page boy outfit in short trousers with girlish footwear enjoyed being dressed in these clothes. I imagine he must have looked very sissyish but his demure and obedient persona strongly suggests he went along with his mother's wishes.

As I explained in my post, I too wore short trousers from 16 to 20 to please my mother but also because I enjoyed the role of little boy. Although most of the accounts on this poll are of boys being forced to wear short trousers and being humiliated I wonder how much they secretly enjoyed their clothes but were far too ashamed to admit it.

The last topic about the fingertip test and the extreme brevity of short trousers included comments on footwear with one account of a boy of 15 or 16 having to wear black childrens sandals with white ankle socks turned down over the ankle when attending a formal childrens party in short trousers. The boy must not only have looked childish but also somewhat of a sissy. I note that in the section on kilts that some boys also had to wear girls white ankle or white knee socks with girls strap shoes which must have been even more humiliating if the kilt looked more like a girls pleated skirt. Doubtless there are other similar accounts in the many postings on this poll.

My take is that a boy being made to wear short trousers in his mid to late teens is humiliating enough but being dressed in footwear more appropriate for a little girl must induce a feeling of absolute shame and inferiority

Thankfully I was never forced to wear short trousers and girlish footwear when growing up but I have witnessed occasions when older boys were dressed this way. The first was staying as a guest at a small weekend gathering in Hertfordshire in 2007 hosted by a lady who dressed her 16 year old son in a junior page boy style outfit consisting of dark blue wool shorts with a white blouse, white ankle socks, and black single strap patent leather girls shoes. The blouse had a large rounded collar with an extravagantly frilled border and long puffed sleeves with frilled cuffs. The following day he appeared in a white short trousered sailor suit with light blue borders and matching light blue girls strap shoes with girls white knee socks.

Throughout the weekend the boy was demure and obedient, only speaking when spoken to, and addressing his mother as Mummy. Aside from meals he had to sit on the floor with his legs crossed and was not allowed to use a chair. The two other children in the party was a 13 year old boy in long trousers and a 12 year old girl in tights both of whom looked a good deal more grown up than the unfortunate 16 year old.

I visited again a year later to see the boy dressed equally childishly in a burgundy brushed velvet pair of shortalls with matching burgundy T-strap sandals and turned down white ankle socks. A white blouse similar to the previous year completed the ensemble.

His mother was the most charming lady and seemed to dote on her son but who obviously could not bear to allow him to grow up.
