chuckle Apparently you didn't read much of my explanation to Dead Air, did you? Oh well; I'll copy-and-paste a portion of it here:

(What I wrote to Dead Air) -- ...That's why I included my little disclaimer/apology, in which I explained that the selections are all modern rock, new wave, and/or synth/pop (and "Top 40" - you're right), because those were the genres that I (and most folks I know) enjoyed the most during the 1980s.

As for rock, hard rock, metal, punk, and any other 80s music, I figured I'd let those polls be created by the people who truly knew that type of music. I would unfortunately never be able to come up with a good list of artists from these genres, because I'm not familiar enough with them. (The good news is that I've notice there are already some polls featuring the types of music you mentioned. You'll just have to wade through the Music Polls section to find 'em!)

Howdy! :) Just a humble suggestion in case you decide to edit your poll and add choices. I think P.E. should definitely be on the list as the hardest subject in school.

There are (unfortunately) many folks out there, myself included, who did terribly at almost everything in P.E. during our junior high school and high school years.

It wasn't because I didn't try, because I busted my butt in an effort to do well. However, I usually was not successful. Either I was too lame to get good at the sport, or I was too afraid of getting injured (i.e. field hockey or soccer).

Hence, I got yelled at by the P.E. teachers, teased by the other students (BAD for the self-esteem), and had to deal with my overal grade point average being pulled down simply because I wasn't able to run along a balance beam, slam-dunk a basketball or throw a softball all the way to the batter. P.E. sucks!! :(

The only P.E. activities I was good at were swimming (I love to swim), social dance (I love dancing), and badminton (not sure why I was good at this). Anyway, just my 2 cents' worth. :) Thanks for reading!

Hi. I noticed my favorite fast food place is not on your list. I'm not sure if Carl's Jr. is strictly a West Coast establishment, or if they are all over the country. Either way, I hope you will consider adding it to your list of fast food restaurants. It really is terrific! :)
