My clothing apart from school was much the same all year round at the bottom. I wore brief shorts or shortalls. I can remember when I was 15 regularly going for a cycle ride on the sea front. It was the middle of the winter and I still put on very brief denim shorts. Or I sometimes cycled along in my denim shortalls.
I was never really forced to have bare legs. Encouraged maybe. But I enjoyed and still like wearing shorts of all descriptions and lengths.
I wore short shorts right through my teenage years and at University. This included dungaree shorts.
I still wear short shorts so have never stopped. I usually wear them for country walks and cycling. I wear longer shorts in town etc, though you would be surprised at how short you can get away with. -as long as the shorts are decent. I have been to the supermarket shopping in denim shorts with an inseam of no more than an inch.
It is all about confidence.
Not any more PUDGE. I actually wore grey shorts to school until I was 14. They were about the same length shorts as yours.
I also wore amongst my other shorts grey shorts for best at home until I was 17.
Good luck with your school.
Pudge
Your school should be congratulated. I bet you look terribly neat and tidy in your little grey shorts.
Yes Pudge, but are you 14. I would be most interested.
