At the Iowa Caucus Ted Cruz and his "team" managed to spread a rumor claiming that Ben Carson was terminating his campaign for president. Adding to this bold face lie, never substantiated by a call to Carson, Cruz and team encouraged would be Carson voters to vote for him instead.
