Hello Anna! yes your right about all teens thinking they are too old to be babysat.

But if I am out I need t be sure that Karolina is safe and that she is obeying her bedtime rules. Although she is older than her sister Julia she is less mature about things. Karolina sleeps in the same bed as Julia. This is good for her - if she wakes up at night after a bad dream she will not be alone in bed .

But if she is being babysat I allow Sarah, who is her babysitter, to put Karolina to bed at the same time as Julia (at Julia's bedtime).. This makes it easier for Sarah but Karolina doesn't like it at all, especially as Sarah is 15, so older than Julia but younger than Karolina. Last time she was babysat she had a tantrum about it , which was why I put her over my knee for a spanked bottom when Sarah told me the next day.

But Anna, do you think it is ok that Karolina has an earlier bedtime when is being babysat? Do you think it should be a problem that she has a babysitter who is younger than her?

Hello Anna, thank you for such kind words, Im so glad we're friends........you dont think im being too strict then? Karolina was disobedient to her babysitter and i cant accept that. But of course she thinks she is too old to still have a babysitter!

Thank you for your understanding and support, some of my friends think its strange that I still spank my daughters if they misbehave or are disobedient. But i'm a traditional Mum and I absolutely dont think teenagers are adults. Even more so I want mine to grow up to behave like nice and polite young ladies who everyone will admire. And yes, I'm afraid I had to spank Karolina on Tuesday
