Posted in Michigan vs. Ohio on 2014-08-28 11:26:31

My answer was mostly based on the higher population in Ohio, and the lack of population density in Michigan. In Ohio there are four big cities (Columbus, Cincianatti, Cleveland, and Toledo) within the top 100 cities for US population, and they're all well spread out. Michigan's largest city, and only city that rivals any of Ohio's large cities for population is Detroit, and it's right near the border. A full-force invasion would be disastrous for Michigan either way, so all Michigan could do is sit back and hope they aren't invaded by Ohio. Alternatively, if they did invade they could probably take a good portion of the area around Lake Eerie, but they'd instantly fall to any offensive attack from Ohio.

Just my thought on the matter. Ohio would rip Michigan to pieces!

I do have family in Ohio, if you think that affects my answer, but some of them moved to the Detroit suburbs as well.

The position is fine, it's just that you just wrote the answers so that nobody who was pro-abortion could answer without sounding like the caricature you make them into.

If you're going to make a poll try to make it from a neutral standpoint (even if you're the most raging pro-lifer in the world) so that it's actually worth something and allows valid input from everyone. Otherwise it's just another way for you to feel better about your position.

(I'm not arguing for/against abortion; that wasn't the point of my post.)

There are other search engines besides Google, Bing, and yahoo.

Off the top of my head there's DuckDuckGo (What I use), Ask (and Ask Jeeves), AOL Search, and Yandex, and I'm sure there are many others you missed.

Sure, children should be taught how to behave and be well-mannered, that's just a part of being a decent member of society, but I don't believe they should be taught to blindly respect anyone older than them just because of age. Some young people are smart, and some old people are dumb, and if a smart young teenager disagrees with an old idiot, the teenager shouldn't just accept the old person's opinion because they're older.

There was one option (Sentient Animals) where you gave no option for those of us that don't like killing any animals, it was either "Yeah, I'd kill them too" or "No, but snails should die"

Personally, I would never kill an animal because I have no right to decide what lives or dies, but for non-sentient animals I might turn the other way if you have a fetish for stuff like that, as long as the crusher isn't causing intense pain (slow torturing) to the animal.
