We had to start wearing them in 7th grade for pe. The coach told us what they were and most of us had never heard of it. Then in 8th grade I had to wear one with a cup for baseball and that was definitely mandatory.

I am considering this for my own son. I particularly like the idea of spanking his scrotum. Of course as a mother I don't have testicles but I am very confident they are extremely sensitive. I'm not really sure what to paddle him with however.

I had not read about mosts of this but was aware that the Pol Pot regime in Cambodia did a lot of male genital torture, often involving short term "hangings" by the scrotum after the victims genitals had been beaten.

There is no doubt that having such sensative organs (testicles) on the outside of our bodies is a serious disadvantage. There is also no doubt that women and men should be trained on exploiting this disadvantage if itâÂÂs a life or death situation.

I agree that my balls make it tough for me to take a hard hit, but it can be done. It just takes practice, I guess. I think I could learn to handle it.
