Choose my pjs

Of course! I'd never forget about this place for too long! (:

Maybe it is enough to earn two piece footy pjs, but I don't want to risk my only chance on it so I think doing something extra like getting ready for bed earlier is a good idea. I've had to wear tape-style diapers since November and stopped fighting my parents about it completely around January. Anyway, I asked my Mom if I could get ready early and was put in my night-time diapers and bedtime (bedtime = back zipper) jammies an hour early tonight, do you think that's enough or would earlier be better? And do you think I should also put on lounge pjs and goodnites earlier then too? I put them on at 7:30 today.

And well it's kinda a combination of not staying awake and not being able to hold it for really long stretches. (ya know, underdeveloped bladder and all) That said, it is still pretty rare for me to end up wet if I'm in the car for less than an hour. I would wear protection for the gesture of it more than anything. And back zip sleepers are the only pjs that fit well over my night-time diapers so I already wear them whenever I'm wearing protection in the car. :\

What stores? Since I'm so short I have to buy JP sizes or kids L to XL. I actually had to throw out my last kids M pjs because it finally was too small after my growth spurt lol xD

Anyway it's almost my bedtime. I need to get to sleep otherwise my parents will be mad at me. Let me know if you have any other questions or ideas for me to prove I'm responsible enough for 2 piece pajamas!

I'm glad things are proceeding well. Instead of guessing what your parents want, have you tried asking them? It might be better all around if you have a clear set of targets to earn two piece pajamas. Something like, minimum gpa, asking to be put in night time diapers by a certain time, not attempting to remove back zippers, and maybe some consequences for missing the target.

As far as shopping for pjs, I did look up some specialists who would have some stock. Since your parents are OK with ordering overseas, Seenin makes back zip footies in fleece and jersey for warm weather https://www.seenin.co.uk/childrens-1/sleepwear/back-opening-sleepsuit-cotton-jersey The All in One Company does custom sleepers, which are expensive bu you can get a back zip and button tab in all kinds of designs and sizes, http://www.the-all-in-one-company.co.uk/ There is also a US company called Benefit Wear that makes back zip jumpsuits with no feet in jersey and fleece and sells on Amazon or at http://adaptiveclothingshowroom.com/jumpsuits-for-kids-with-autism/

Also since you mentioned locking zippers, a company catering to the adult baby market makes sleepers with a locking front zipper, and has said they will make toddler style 2 piece footed pajamas at some point. http://baby-pants.com/jammies.php

By the way, just how short are you? Also are you planning to go to summer camp this year and have you been on any school trips and had to wear diapers and your back zip sleeper?

Hi KitsuneAngel, sorry for replying a bit late - since MisterPoll doesn't seem to send notification emails anymore, I need to check the message boards I'm interested in by hand, and I hadn't for a few weeks.

It is wonderful to read how far you have come from the rebellious teenager who was just indiscriminantly angry at her situation, to a young adult who of course isn't too happy about her weak bladder, but also understands that though her parents might be a bit strict, they're not that unreasonably so. I think it is quite mature to accept a bad situation for what it is, and are willing to live with the consequences, instead of searching for someone/something else to blame.

Your parents seem to see it that way too, and are leaning towards leniency now. I don't know them personally, so I can't say for sure what will work with them, but if it were me I'd be more impressed by you keep showing you're adult enough now to accept the situation, take reasonable precautions for it when necessary, accept the consequences from her actions (e.g. punishment), and perhaps even start to look ahead. Getting good grades is useful, especially in the courses involved in what you might want to study in college. Perhaps making a plan on how to deal responsibly with your handicap could work too: like "as long as I don't interfere with my incontinence material, and get a xx point pga, I get a pair of two-piece pajamas for the summer. Under the same conditions, in a year back-zip pajamas won't be necessary anymore. ...".

I think doing what is right and suitable, like saying "this car ride will take long enough that I can't be quite sure I will stay dry, so I'd better use protection", or "I'll go to bed now, since I have a test tomorrow", will work better than "look how good I am: I will wear protection and back-zip pajama's all the time, even if you might not require me to." You would impress me more by showing you can make balanced decisions than by trying too hard. (I could probably tell that you'd have an alterior motive with it.)

All in all, more or less that same as nray999_b wrote. :-O

About choosing a onesie you might like, nray999_b gave some links on back-zip pajamas, but my original question was more about any one-piece you might like. And yes, most of them are for winter, but you can still find them.
The place I got my custom back-zip onesie is http://www.donann.co.uk/, where, like the all-in-one-company, you can choose and pick. (Unluckily I don't think they ship to the USA, but we're only looking, anyhow.)
High end onesies you can find at https://www.onepiece.com - fashionable but expensive.
Then there are loads of Kigurumi onesies - just go to ebay.com and search. They are available in just about any character you'd like.
Or perhaps you like more girly onesies, like http://www.ebay.com/itm/Girls-14-16-XL-My-Little-Pony-Pajamas-Pinkie-Pie-Zip-Up-Onesie-Hoodie-Footed-Pjs-/162063758916?hash=item25bbc0b644:g:Sm4AAOSwcdBWStkQ ?
Anyhow, a quick search on ebay will give you loads to pick from.

It's ok you replied late Carg, I don't mind. ^_^

Thank you though! I feel like I've grown up a lot recently. Like I understand now that my parents just want what's best for me and what's best for me right now is to acknowledge the fact that I can't stay dry at night. There's no point in fighting it, plus waking up in a wet diaper is 10 times better than waking up in wet pjs and a wet bed so why even try?

So I talked to my parents and they said that as I long as all the accidents I have happen while wearing protection for two weeks I can have the two piece pjs! But I'm also supposed to think of some consequences for myself if I don't make it two weeks, aside from just not getting new two piece footy pjs. Can you guys help me come up with some? The only things I can think of is maybe wear my night-time diaper and pajamas for a day, or maybe my parents could still get me new pjs, but instead of getting something that would be a reward to wear, they could buy me different pjs that I could wear as punishment? Idk what that would entail right now though, so I need some help with that too. Also are there any strategies you can think of to make sure I only wet while wearing protection? Right now, my plan is just to wear my lounge pjs and goodnites as much as I can during the day and then change into my night time diapers and back zippered jammies after supper but I'd like some feedback or other ideas.

To nray: With seenin's pajamas I really like the idea of zippers in the legs, it would be really nice not to have to take off my pjs all the way to put on a clean diaper! But their designs are pretty plain. I'd have to ask my parents if that is OK for me to wear to bed though. The All-In-One Company is awesome though, I've made like 3 pairs of pjs for myself on there already lol. They have so many different patterns and the whole thing where you can mix different patterns together is super duper nice too! Since they are already customized, do you think they can put in zippers like on the seenin pjs? They have one with a cute little butt-flap but that doesn't help much if you're always going to be wearing a diaper underneath haha. With the locking pajamas, I checked the size chart and I think they would be way too big for me, plus it might feel weird to wear clothes made for 'adult babies' anyway. Are they the only ones who make footies with that pink ducky design though? I totally remember seeing a girl at school wear pjs with that exact same pink duckies design on generation day.

To Carg: Onepiece is pretty expensive and it isn't really my style, but I really like those MLP pjs! Here's some other ones I found that I like.

That should give you an idea of my style haha. If I see anything Disney or Hello Kitty I absolutely NEED it. xD I really like those monster high jammies with the prison stripes too. I'd be the cutest jailbird eveerrrr with those. (Plus hello? Halloween costume!!)

Right now I'm five feet, one inch tall. :) I'm fun-size haha.

I'm leaving for camp at the end of June and I'll be there for two weeks this time. My mom signed me up for this new thing they're doing this year where its basically a group for people who have trouble staying dry. The brochure my mom gave me says we get our own dorm and other "special acommodations," but the brochure didn't say much about what they would be.

If I'm on a bus doesn't have a bathroom I wear my lounge pjs and a goodnite, but a lot of the girls and even a couple of the boys on the speech team wear their pjs too. But actually overnight trips for school are the only times I'm allowed to wear goodnites to bed. Tbh its hard for me to sleep wearing a goodnite nowadays. I'm so used to sleeping my night-time diapers that sleeping in a goodnite just feels wrong. :\

Good to hear from you again. My wife is 5'1" too, so I consider that "normal short" since I know a lot of adult women that small. Under 5' would be really short. Look at the bright side, you can wear cute stuff from the kid's department like the sleepers you linked and be totally kawai des (could be misspelled), plus you can save money on shoes and stuff. On the subject of PJs, the zippers in the legs for easy changing are mostly for mobility issues so I have seen them in stuff like Suprima and 4care. If you are good at sewing, or know somebody, you could probably insert a zipper in any footies with enough room. Don't worry about the ducky print giving you away, all the smaller makers are buying fabric from the same places so they end up with similar colors and prints.

As far as working with your parents, I'm glad my advice on asking for goals worked. Regarding penalties for accidents without protection, I think wearing a diaper and back zip pajamas for a day would be reasonable, as would losing the privilege of wearing front zip pajamas for a while. I don't know what could be penalty pajamas, other than an embarrassing pattern, or maybe mittens. I don't think either is helpful. Although it might be inconvenient, your plan of wearing protection as much as possible will probably work, just make sure you drink enough, dehydration is a case of the cure is worse than the disease. For trips, if you are uncomfortable in a Goodnight, maybe you should just go with a diaper for the extra security. From what you have said, people who know about your diapers have been supportive so it is worth the risk.

Good luck with everything. Perhaps your best option for sleepers is to find a seamstress, or learn to see so you can make or modify your own. I think a larger character print sleeper could be modified with a back zipper, or even a between the leg zipper, and syllabus have room for a diaper. On that subject, are your tape on diapers a small adult style, or are they a youth style like the Tena Youth briefs? Since you are small, the youth style might work better since they are cut for smaller people.
