sigh Bush doesn't listen to congress, HE RUNS CONGRESS. (...Or didn't you hear about how the doors were locked until two people's votes were "swung" in the "right" direction for his purposes...)
Besides, I saw it in the paper, and we all know how true the paper is. It's gospel.
Lightning, you are seriously UNINFORMED. Stop going off oh Chuck's mom, and start reading. Start with some Noam Chomsky. Try 'Media Control'. It will help you understand why you sound so stupid to us.
For the record...
I voted for Harry Brown in 2000, and The Workers World Party in 2004. (both times the states I was voting in nominated Democrats)
I think the only way to actually change this country is to split in a bunch of separte countries, (so that it looks sort of like Europe.) It's just not working as one. The government has too much power and control. Now they even have elecronic voting! (Yeah, right, Bush "won"!)
Oh! And everyone should see 'End of Suburbia' and write back and tell me what they think.
(I think we're screwed!)

I think Big Brother is/has-always-been the freemasons...
(The Biggest Secret by David Ickey was excellent.)
I believe there are many indications that global warming is afoot, namely, that I live in Seattle, and it doesn't rain here anymore. It is supposed to be cloudy here around 240 days a year, and it is not cloudy here 100 days a year anymore. It rains in the outlying areas of Washinton, but rarely in the city.
I have a calander I am marking this year to keep track of rain fall. So far it has rained 5 times-since the year began-here in downtown.
That is NOT the Seattle I used to know. This drying has been going on for a while now, seemingly growing drier each year... basically since Bush took the White House, which I find that quite interesting since his administratioin encourages the use of gasoline and large vehicles, and denies any problems with their use.
I would also like to mention that the times downtown Seattle has experienced a storm of large proportions, people were NOT out driving... Christmas day, and Superbowl Sunday. Two days were people stay put most of the day. After the Superbowl was over, however, the rain stopped.
Last Christmas, it snowed. Incidentally, the largest snow storm to hit Seattle recently, which happened in 1996-and closed the airport-also happened on Christmas.
Conincidence?
Maybe, but I'm begining to wonder.
