Posted in Why and how do you wear overalls? on 2014-01-12 17:23:13

I went to primary school in the seventies, and there was a group of kids that I wanted to be part of. They often wore overalls and jumpsuits; the girls more than the boys, but one of the boys had a pair with a front zipper, which I had never seen before. I badgered my mother until I got my own pair, and ever since enjoyed wearing them.

One of the things I like about them is that they are not tight around the waist, or else you just unbutton the sides, which is nice when your stomach is not feeling great. Another is that you feel 'hugged' in them, with the straps wrapped around your torso.

OK, the title is a bit misleading: I never had such accidents, but I love hearing about them. Currently there are many jumpsuits and rompers for sale with back zippers or even back buttons, so I would expect many ladies to be challenged when going to the restrooms. Tell me all...

Hmm, that sound line one fun snow suit. I ordered several locking zipper sliders, to replace the sliders of some of my current outfits. Do you do that too, or do you replace the whole zipper? (I'm not convinced that it is easy to replace a slider unless the zipper halves can be fully parted.) How about your sleep sack - has it arrived by now through all the snow?

Well, if you've been mean to her, I'd say you got what you deserved. But on the other hand I have the impression that you liked it, so perhaps not a good punishment for you after all...

Hi Felinius, you're lucky to have someone to help you wear such nice clothes. I'm single and when I want to make sure I wear a sleeper all night, I padlock it closed and the key is frozen in ice, so that it takes a number of hours to become available. I do need to wear a diaper under it when I do that, because I can't last a whole night without needing to pee. Being put into such clothes by a caretaker is fun, and then there is a choice for a diaper or being let out when necessary. With the snowsuit: the ones from Privatina are normally easy for the wearer to take off again. Will you order, or make yourself, adjustments to prevent that (like the locking zipper they offer)?

@bfpro: I haven't even given you the opportunity to answer my previous questions, but had a few more things: it seems to me your mother is sensible in locking you in when there's other girls over (I assume only when they stay the night!?). A while ago your sister made a remark to your mother that all your sleepers should be locking. Has there been any developments there, or has there been no further mention? It shouldn't be hard to adapt your current sleepers to accept padlocks, or perhaps they are just considering ordering any new ones locking... If you would have a free choice of what to wear at night, I get the impression that for colder weather you would still choose to wear sleepers. Would you even choose to wear mittened sleepers (when it's very cold), even though they limit what you can do in them? And would there be any situations where you would prefer being locked in them, like if your sister has a sleepover in the house?
